Y’all know I love me some Rock Band, especially the Downloadable Content (DLC). So since I watch the new releases regularly, and many of you stop by for Rock Band sessions from time to time, I thought I’d keep you up to date on what’s coming out next, and what I plan on adding to the library. Music has been around pretty much since our cave-dwelling ancestors could bang two sticks together in rythm. Methods for recording music have been around for much longer than you may have thought. I ran across this image while surfing the other day, and it intrigued me. besides, I haven’t posted anything in ove two week. Lame, I know. But here you go.

Well, the results are in. Some predictable winners and perennial favorites, as well as quite a few newcomers. Sadly, I was not among the winners. I lost out to some pregnant mom who takes pictures of her pregnant belly and then posts ‘em – WTF? Seriously… Her name’s Heather Armstrong and her site is Dooce.com. Now admittedly, she gets a shit-toin more traffic than me – around 4 million page views per month. I get several thousands page views of love from you guys, but I guess they were rating quantity and not quality. Jerks…

Anyway, check out the rest of the winners and nominees. It’s good information if you’re looking for somewhere new to eat, something fun to do on a Friday night, somewhere to hang out, or something new and different to experience. The fact that these people and institutions have been rated by the readers make engaging with any of the winners a pretty safe bet.
