Life at 1000 frames-per-second

I-Movix SprintCam v3 NAB 2009 showreel from David Coiffier on Vimeo.

This is what things look like when shot with a camera at 1,000 fps, and then played back at regular speed – things slow down to little more than a crawl, and the smallest of details that are missed at normal “living” speeds. I especially liked the Jell-O near the end, mostly because it looks like it just hovers there longer than it reasonably should have.

It’s worth watching in HD (and full-screen for that matter), which you can do over at Vimeo by clicking here.

Wow, that was amazing. I wish I could spend my life at 1,000 fps for a while.
